Tradelink remain open for business

You will no doubt have seen or heard the Prime Minister’s statement on Coronavirus (COVID-19) yesterday evening. The statement brings in measures designed to “flatten the peak of the epidemic”.  What that means is that “the epidemic” will last for longer – current expectations are for a minimum period of three months but potentially up to a year.

Our priority is the health and safety of our employees and customers together with continuity of service. We have established robust policies at all our offices and factories with the aim of limiting the spread of the coronavirus.Tradelink supports over 250 families (our directly employed people) and indirectly thousands more (those in our supply chain and customers) and we owe it to you and to them to keep selling, manufacturing and buying.

We plan to ensure that we remain open for business – i.e. continue to sell, manufacture and provide a service to our customers – and so we expect all Tradelink offices and sites to remain open and active through these difficult times.

What we are doing

  • Stopped all unnecessary B2B visitors to our premises.
  • Limited B2B travel externally.
  • Reduced travel internally between sites.
  • Increased stock of critical parts.
  • Developed a work-from-home policy to safeguard key business activities.
  • Revised procedures for Goods-in deliveries.
  • Made all our staff aware of current govt/NHS guidelines.
  • All operators to wear gloves and practice social distancing.
  • Self-Health declarations of all drivers which will be delivering to you.
  • Our external sales staff to carry out their roles remotely.

What you can do

  • If you have any staff with a confirmed case of COVID-19, please inform us. As we have developed alternative delivery procedures.
  • Please help our sales team to maintain regular contact with you and service your account.

The situation is changing daily, we will continue to provide updates as the situation develops, In the meantime I would like to thank you for your continued support and understanding and wish you well during these times of uncertainty.
