Container of windows sets sail for Australia

This week saw our 4th container of windows set sail for Australia, embarking on a massive 10,468 mile journey to the land down under.

The journey will take 6-8 weeks and will see the container travel from our March factory direct to Melbourne via land and sea. The route will see the products travel through numerous continents, before ending their journey in South East Australia.

Back in 2017 we were contacted by Australian installers Yarra Windows and Doors to help with the fabrication of their uPVC products. 2 years on and they are still ordering large quantities of our products to adorn the Australian home market properties.

Yarra are based in Somerville, Melbourne, in Victoria, in the South Eastern part of Australia and have been installing windows for many years now, but wanted to offer traditional British products down under..

The shipment is by far the furthest export region for the Cambridgeshire based Tradelink. The fabricators deliver up and down the UK and across the breadth of the company and also transport products to customers in Jersey.

In addition to PVC-U products that Yarra have ordered, Tradelink have sent a number of domestic aluminium products over to the Australian installers and the orders continue to increase.

The Australian company have ordered a wide array of both PVC-U and aluminium products from Tradelink over the last 24 months including; bi-fold doors, sliding doors, casement windows, composite doors and French doors.

As well as domestic aluminium and PVC-U products, Tradelink offers a full choice of commercial aluminium low-rise curtain walling, ground floor treatments and aluminium windows, plus commercial PVC products.
