One valuable route to market for the company is via the retailer and here we ask Stuart Judge, Tradelink’s Managing Director, why this sector is of prime importance.
- How important is the window and door retailer for you? What proportion of your overall business goes through this route?
This was one of the founding customer types for the business 30 years ago and remains a continued focus today. The business is renowned for quality products and excellent service and, even in this changing market, we strongly believe there is a huge value in retailers knowing they can have products delivered, most within seven days, directly; all fit for purpose and ready to install.
- Who visits Tradelink retailers – target audiences?
The vast majority of our retailers focus on the domestic replacement market, although some carry out small commercial projects too; and we’re happy to support our retailers in any way possible.
- How does Tradelink supports retailers with marketing collateral?
We have developed dedicated retailer specific brochures that they can take control of while they benefit from our marketing knowledge. Alongside, we offer local social media advertising, web presence and on-site support from a dedicated technical representative who can take them through most situations. For those who have showrooms, we create dedicated displays and provide product samples as part of our Tier 1 service level agreements.
- What can the retailer sell? All Tradelink products?
Yes! We offer products which range from standard basic white windows through to the increasingly popular seamless welded windows where the retailer can add and promote something different to their customers. Add to this our bespoke Soteria composite door range and there really isn’t much we don’t offer.
- How can you become one?
