The strong working relationship between premium window and door designer, The
Residence Collection, and the UK’s largest fabricator of PVC-U and aluminium
products, Tradelink, has always delivered consistent quality results for the duo.

The Residence Collection provides premium window and door systems, designed
and made in Great Britain. The portfolio compliments Tradelink’s core product
offering and customer base perfectly, so the partnership is a natural, mutual fit.
Tradelink was founded over three decades ago and supplies trade installers with
PVC-U, aluminium and composite frames, as well as conservatory roofs and more.
The business expanded in 1992 and, today, has six factories up and down the
country.

The partnership has been ongoing since 2016; but how did it come together all those
years ago?

The Residence Collection was keen to establish a partnership following Tradelink’s
already-established close affinity with its sister company, Window Widgets. Tradelink
was an assured partner due to the company’s specific manufacturing techniques that
have helped The Residence Collection appeal to customers to this day.

Tradelink offers mechanical, welded and the premium R9s,R7s and R2s, seamless
welded technologies, the leading technology that customers purchase from
Tradelink’s dedicated Residence range. All three ranges offer a fully welded frame
with stunning aesthetics, with customers consistently impressed with its premium
design and high-quality functionality.

Tradelink conducts regular annual health checks to ensure the quality of production
and fabrication for The Residence Collection. The Residence Collection has fully-
audited quality and process controls in place under ISO accreditations and, to
improve customer experience and satisfaction, has a dedicated customer service
team on hand to deal with all enquiries.

So, how does the partnership work?

Working together in tandem, The Residence Collection designs and manufactures
the window profile, the profile is sent to Tradelink, who will make the window or
doors ready for the installer to fit in consumers’ homes. Tradelink ensures that the
people enquiring and purchasing The Residence Collection products receive the
highest possible quality; the partnership is made possible due to the mutual respect
between companies that allows them to deliver the best experience for consumers.

This partnership was recognised at the G21 Awards where both companies secured
a win for joint project, Sewell Park, known as the Norfolk home of Black Beauty
author, Anna Sewell. The Residence Collection and Tradelink supported the
renovation of Sewell Park by replacing the old timber windows with brand new
replicas designed to last. The windows were transformed to replicate the original
features and beauty of the windows and the end result showcased the level of
expertise and collaboration between the two companies.

Commenting on the partnership, Katie Atkinson, Account Manager at The Residence
Collection says: “We are incredibly lucky to be working with a manufacturer which is
as well respected as Tradelink to help deliver the best possible experience for our
customers. Having a manufacturer that delivers such premium and technologically
advanced products helps us stay ahead of the game, and focussed on designing the
most premium products that we know will work incredibly well for our customers. A
partnership since the beginning, we look forward to many more years of success
working together.”
